What movie have you seen the most times in your life? How many times have you seen it? Will you ever grow tired of it?

let's see now, i actually love the "mel gibson" movie entitled "forever young." haha, it is quite an old movie but i still can't forget the basic story of it. it was about a soldier who volunteered to use himself as a "guinea pig" for an experiment of cryogenics. people at that time were trying to extend and keep him young forever, hence the title "forever young." what makes this movie really interesting is that after a few years, mel gibson finds himself in a time he does not recognize much and so many things are different. then he discovers that the longer he stay away from his "tube" to faster he ages. and it was so romantic, this is the thing that i really love most about the movie, because he tried to look for his girl friend at that time... he manages to find her through the help of some young kids and then when they do meet after a number of years, he proposes to his girlfriend and she says yes. the girl had waited for him even after being gone for quite a long time... how i wish that these kind of things are still possible... well, it would also be nice to preserve this movie as it has become an important inspiration to my life. i wonder how can i also make things like these "forever young"

well, there are a lot of movies out there that can really leave an impression on us. we buy the dvd's and keep them as memorabilia. we watch them over and over again and then reminisce all those things that make that particular movie really great for us. we keep whatever values we have learned or even the insights that we have gained. movies are a good way of expressing ideas and beliefs. when people watch movies, a certain movie becomes so impressive for them especially if they have something in it where they can relate themselves with. movies for me are the reflection of not just the producer or writer's idea but also a reflection of what is actually happening around us. according to my observation, i remember the time when they made these movies like "armageddon" and "deep impact." the movies were made before we had some meteor showers that some of us have viewed within our vast skies at night. so, it was like the movies were a prelude to something that could possibly happen. people are really amazing and we have come so far already. how i really wish to have a good thing to preserve all of these movies that i find special. something that would allow me to play them over and over again and not worry that someday might come and i won't be able to do it anymore. it would also be nice to show these special movies i find to the children of my children and to the next generation for them to be able to enjoy something that i had once before.
